Rupit situated 98 km from Barcelona, 33 km from Vic and 28 km from Olot. It is 845 m above see level and it is part of the Osona area in the high plateau of Collsacabra. It is the last village belonging to the Barcelona province, situated on the local 153 road, from Vic to Olot, km 33 and limits with "La Selva" and "La Garrotxa" areas.
